This Monday AFC Bournemouth will host 11th placed Crystal Palace in a fixture that both teams will be fighting for as the three points are up for anyone’s taking, in what looks to be intriguing mid-table encounter.

Bournemouth have regained momentum after their heavy 4-0 defeat to Burnley last weekend, by beating Blackburn Rovers 3-2 in the third round of the League Cup.

Whereas Crystal Palace look to add to their unbeaten run of 3 games. Winger Andros Townsend continues to look threatening after scoring twice against West Bromwich Albion, to emphatically knock the Baggies out of the League Cup.

The Cherries summer signing Diego Rico is a doubt to play in Mondays fixture due to the Left Back having a hamstring injury, that may have him out on the shelf along with centre back Charlie Daniels who remains out of action following a knee injury.

Roy Hodgson, the crystal palace manager spoke about key players with injury worries. “Christian Benteke, we are still monitoring on a day to day basis and he is improving, but as yet he is still having treatment, so he is out of the question”.

However, Eddie Howe was more focussed upon Wilfried Zaha “Zaha is a player that we need to be aware of, but they've also got excellent midfielders with a lot of experience, so we've got to manage it well."

William Hill have Bournemouth to win 1-0 at Odds of 8/1, with Ladbrokes having Callum Wilson down as the first Goal scorer at 5/1.

I think that this game will be goalless in the first half, with Crystal Palace scoring twice after half time for a 2-0 win.
