Liverpool 3 - 2 PSG, UEFA Champions League,

Group C Match Day 1.

Firmino is just as clinical with one eye.

The roar from Anfield was deafening when Liverpool sealed a victory 3-2 against French giants Paris St. Germain, following the latest of winners by Roberto Firmino in the 93rd Minute, after The Red’s 2-0 lead was lost and a home draw seemed on the cards.

The Brazilian Centre forward didn’t let his vision impair him as he neatly tucked away his 12th Career Champions League goal, after a convincing strike into the bottom left corner, following an instant impact, after coming off the bench.

It was the Merseyside club who kept on the pressure and found the net first, as England striker Daniel Sturridge was left unmarked and headed in the opener of a lively encounter on the half hour mark.

The Kop had only just settled down when Georginio Wijnaldum was brought down in the box by Bernat, and lead to Milner comfortably slotting Liverpool’s 2nd from the spot only 6 minutes after the Parisians restarted.

A cool finish despite the occassion.

Paris immediately fired back, as only 3 minutes later, a failed clearance bounced up nicely for Munier, for a volley off his weak foot, which started the comeback for the French side.

Soon after, Salah’s celebrations where cut short, as his tap in was disallowed following a dangerous raised studs foul on the keeper by Sturridge, however, Areola gained little sympathy from the home fans.

Red's fans were convinced Sturridge won the ball.

Neymar and Mbappe showed off their value for money as they tore through the defence, after the Brazilian winger picked up a loose ball, and unselfishly set up the wonderkid as Mbappe levelled the score with minutes left on the clock.

Yet it was not to be, as Firmino reminded the doubters that he is still as good with one eye and rescued the three points for Liverpool on an enticing night of football.

Kylian and Neymar's efforts were not enough tonight
